InterContinental® Miami goes 100% Green with Wind Power
InterContinental® Miami invites you to stay green as we proudly announce that in 2012 the InterContinental® Miami became the largest green power purchaser in the State of Florida, we are a 100% Wind Energy and are an EPA’s Green Power Partner. The EPA estimates that InterContinental® Miami’s purchase avoids an estimated 10,665 metric tons of carbon dioxide, which is the equivalent to the greenhouse gas emissions from 2,091 passenger vehicles each year or the carbon dioxide emissions from the electricity use of 1,330 average American homes for one year.

- Feeding South Florida: We reduce food waste and package leftover food from our clients events, then coordinate pickups with Feeding South Florida for them to distribute to where is a need in the community
- Clean the World: We are partners in Clean the World program and implement soap and bottled amenities recycling program
