Health & Safety Measures:

With updated measures in place, we are launching the IHG Clean Promise. Good isn’t good enough – we’re committed to high levels of cleanliness. That means clean, well maintained, clutter-free rooms that meet our standards. If this isn’t what you find when you check-in then we promise to make it right. We are also partnering with Cleveland Clinic to further enhance our cleaning program with new science-led protocols and service measures. Due to local mandates in Miami-Dade County, masks are required to be worn in all public spaces throughout the hotel. 

Arrival Experience

  • Enter through automated doors or manually operated by a hotel colleague
  • Paperless & touchless check-in with protective plexiglass with each agent
  • Clean and disinfect room keys and credit card devices
  • Social distancing floor decals maintaining 6’ apart between each guest at check-in
  • All hotel colleagues are required to wear face coverings, guests are required to wear face coverings in public areas* 
  • Easy access to hand sanitizing stations and dispensers throughout the hotel
  • Maximum 4 persons per elevator. Stairs also available


  • Guestrooms are cleaned upon departure or upon request
  • Enhanced deep cleaning protocols upon check-out with EPA approved products for proper sanitation
  • Special attention to frequent touch surfaces and items:
  • Mini bar and handles
  • Telephone and remote control
  • HVAC Unit and thermostat
  • Furniture, television, and clock radio
  • Lamp, floor lamp, and light switches
  • Outlets and USB ports
  • Hairdryer
  • Bathroom and fixtures

Restaurant, Bar & In-Room Dining

  • Touchless menus offering QR code reader for dining outlets
  • Queuing – guest queue will be marked for appropriate physical distancing
  • Reduced seating capacity
  • Dining tables disinfected after each use
  • Self-serve buffets are suspended at this time
  • Individual condiment packets or served in ramekins
  • Rolled-up flatware or pre-packaged plastic flatware

Disinfected every 1 – 2 hours

  • Door plates and handles
  • Toilets, counter, sinks, and all handles
  • Towel dispenser & hand dryers
  • Baby changing stations
  • Trash receptacles

Public Space – Enhanced Cleaning
Disinfected every 1 – 2 hours with special attention of frequent touch spots

  • Front entrance, doors, and door handle
  • Front desk & concierge desk
  • Bell stand and luggage carts
  • Lobby and seating areas
  • Elevator landings, cabs, rails and buttons
  • Stairwells and rails
  • Coffee and beverage stations
  • Business center and computers
  • Trash and recycling receptacles
  • Fitness Center (cleaned & sanitized every hour)
